WHO THE FUCK IS PLACYF

Placyf is an independent lifestyle brand based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The project was initiated by R. Alamsyah in 2017 as an alter ego to channel his ideas with complete freedom and anonymity. Today, Placyf has evolved into a brand that aim to maintain it’s enigmatic persona and provide unique daily wear and lifestyle products suitable for individuals living in today’s intricate environment. Their work is mostly inspired by personal experience, nonconformist mindset, and various counter culture references of literature, art, design, music, film, and style.

The main purpose and/or function of this program is to connect the dots between like minded individuals based on their idealism, not to vindicate certain way of thinking, but to collectively ask questions to keep their toes grounded and intentions pure. Placyf is merely a medium, envisioned in an abstract form of physical products, packaged in captivating visuals and literature works to provide a narrative, systematically penetrating intellectual minds through series of adult tales, most of the time in blurred lines between fact and fiction.
